Some leagues have a reputation of always being extremely bad and the journalists from the countries of the teams who face them always expect win by loads of goals no matter if they are at home or away. For example, Swedish teams always expect to go crush Welsh, Northern Irish and Irish teams away from home but that's rarely the case, as we experienced yesterday where we picked The New Saints to do well against Helsingborg. I think this is a similar case, even if the Cypriots are at home here. Linfield will certainly not win this game, but they will play tight defense and fight as they always do.
They are the most champions in the whole world with over 40 titles, I think Penarol of Uruguay and Rangers are the ones that come close. That doesn't mean they're very good, since the Northern Irish league isn't any good, but it means they have loads of experience of this kind of games. Actually, they have been doing pretty well awey from home even when they have faced good opponents, opponents better than AEL. They have played nine away games in the Champions League qualifiers in the 2000's, and not one of those games have they lost by more than two goals margin. That makes these odds high. They lose 2-0 against BATE, 2-0 against Rosenborg, 1-0 against Elfsborg, they even got a draw away at Dinamo Zagreb.
AEL never score a lot of goals, they haven't scored more than two goals in 14 of their 15 last games. Also, they have two straight losses against another pretty good Cypriot team, Omonia.
I think Linfield will do OK here, they will be desperate to get an OK result for the home game. I'm going for Linfield +2.00 at odds 2.08, which means stake is returned if they lose by exactly two goals margin.
Good luck!

Borussia Dortmund v Bayern Munich: Who Will Win The Champions League Final?

You might be right. But supporters tend to say they always will win. What makes you so certain, what makes your team better than Rosenborg, BATE or Dinamo Zagreb?
