Arvidsson is rightly favorite here IMO. She has beaten Vinci without any fuss. She holds 2-0 h2h record this year vs Rus on clay and grass. In the first match Rus retired, but in the most recent she was beaten in straight sets. Rus was beaten in Semifinal of ITF by Oprandi, so her for is not so great. Home player defends points from Semi Final of last year. Rus lost here last year to Vrljic (?)at the same stage of the tournament. I think that Rus is no match here for Arvidsson. Undoubtedly talented, but at least level below local player.
