Kubot struggled against Dodig in first round, and won after extremely close match. However, that doen't mean that Kubot is in good shape. Two weeks ago he lost in Stuttgart's first round to Cedrik Marcel Stebe and Dodig also was close to beating him, while it has to be said that Dodig playing on clay is not a very common sight, because he surely feels better on other surfaces, where he can use his assets like strong serve. It could be also seen in Dodig's record before match with Kubot 3 wins, 7 losses.

Granollers is able to perform far better on clay, and he just reached final in Umage, beating Staraca and Verdasco on the way. He had some up and downs, but generally he has the ability to counter Kubot's serve and volley style, and I expect him to win without losing a single set.
