SKENDERBEU STRAIGHT WIN
Final result: 3 - 0Profit: 0.00 - 2 = -2
It seems once again the bookies underestimate Skenderbeu although in the first leg The Snow Wolves simply outplayed their opponent being dominant through the entire match. The albanian champions could have scored at least 2 or three goals more if it wasn't for the childish mistakes of Plaku and Xhafaj with the latter being really egoist in some occasions. Debreceni didn't have a chance...It was a great night in Korca with a packed stadium and an electrifying atmosphere.
Now it will be harder in Hungary of course but the mood is better than ever within Skenderbeu's camp and everybody is well-prepared physically and mentally after all for this difficult task. The president of the Snow Wolves has promised a big premio for his players if they'll pass through the next stage making a historical step for the whole Albania in Europe. Some 100 loyal supporters will make the trip to Hungary.
We'll probably see the same lienup as in the 1st leg with the exception being Bicaj, the tough centre-back who will give a plus in the backline with his height and strength.
The match won't be played at the home ground of Debreceni because it doesn't meet UEFA requirements and there will be used another stadium instead in another city close to Debrecen. There is no doubt that we'll see a greater effort from the hungarians trying to overturn the deficit but I bilieve that if Skenderbeu produces even 70% of that performance, they'll be the one qualifying thus making a great achievement for Albania.
So...Skenderbeu to make history!!!
