Xavier Malisse - Sam Querrey

Querrey has won this tournament two times in a row in 2009 and 2011 and in the first round easily dispatches Sijsling. However here he will be up against very experienced Malisse who is the beast on hard and grass. H2h is 2-0 for big American, but Malisse who lives in USA and trains on these courts will be formidable opponent. Last match between them was epic 5 setter in Wimbledon 2010, so when Querrey was on top of his game. Quite interesting was Querrey run in this tournament last time, he won all matches in 3 sets. This year Querrey hasn’t looked particularly good on hard courts, in fact he hasn’t passed any second round match on this surface. I think that he will have very hard match here as Malisse serve was looking really well and return was not that bad as well, but Querrey on one of his most favorite events all round should have the edge. I think it will be real battle here, similar to the last match they contested.
