7 POINTS KANSAS VS DC UNITED UNDER 2.5 GOALS (US FOOTBALL MLS) @1.87 PINNACLE

Kansas take on DC united this weekend in the MLS and this looks like its going to be a low scoring game so im going for this to be under 2.5 goals.

Kansas are doing very well this season and currently have the 3rd best record if you look across the entire MLS and at home they have played 11 games winning 6, drawing 2 and losing 3 and the main reason for these victories is that they have a very mean defence and in fact have kept 6 clean sheets at home and another 4 clean sheets away from home. At home they have only conceded 7 goals and that is the joint lowest with Houston and Seattle. At the other end of the park they havent been scoring many goals either and in total at home they have scored just 12 goals and have failed to score on 4 occasions and this is despite them having a lot of shots and possession in the match - of their 11 home matches they have had over 60% of the possession on 6 occasions and they have been averaging around 20 shots per game and they should be doing a lot better with that amont of posession and attempts on goal. The goals that they score and concede gives them an average goals per game rate of 1.9 and 7 of their 11 games have gone under 2.5 goals.

DC United have been playing very well at home recently but away they have had 3 losses on the trot and have oonly won 3 of their 10 away matches. DC either keep a clean sheet which has hapened on 4 occasions or they get blown away and concede 3 or more goals as has happened on 4 occasions and with this team there is alwasy that risk that they could have a bad game and could concede too many goals but against a very low scoring team like Kansas who havent scored more than 2 goals at home all season i cant see that scenario happening. 5 of their away games have gone under 2.5 goals.

In summary If DC united turn out a poor performance then Kansas could score a few but I dont think that Kansas have the attacking accuracy to trouble them too much so Im going for this game to be under 2.5 goals
