7 POINTS TORONTO BEAT PORTLAND (US FOOTBALL MLS) @2.05 VICTOR CHANDLER

The two teams with the worst records play this week in the MLS as Toronto who are bottom of the Eastern Conference take on Portand who are bottom of the Western conference but Toronto have started to turn their season round in the last few weeks although are still favourite to finish bottom come the end of the season and im gong for them to overcome Portland in this match.

Toronto have played 11 home games and have won just 3, drawing 2 and losing 6 but since 26th may they have won 3, drawn 2 and lost just once so you can see how much they have improved in the latter part of the season. In these last 6 home games they have scored 9 goals which was 7 goals more than in their frst 5 games.

Portland have been quite good at home but when they play away from home they have one of the worst records in the league having played 10 matches they have drawn 2 and lost 8. If you look at Portlands last 8 games (home and away) they have only won 1, drawn 1 and lost the other 6 so are on a poor run at the moment. Their main problem has been scoring and they have only scored 2 goals away from home all season which is by far the lowest in the league and one of the main reasons fo rthe lack of scoring is that they have very few shots on target and on average have had just 2.4 shots on target per away game which isnt enough.

In summary Toronto have begun to play a lot better in the later part of the season whereas Portland are going through a poor run and have been appaling away from home so Im going for a home victory.
