FC Groningen lost away last week and that can hardly be a surprise for anyone. They usually play better at home and with the new coach and somewhat better team should be able to take this one from newbies Willem II. The visitors got a point in their league return, but were not impressive against Breda. They were not that solid away from home in the lower league and I expect that tendency to continue here. Visiting the far North is always difficult as the home crowd is one of the best I have seen. Last time around, Groningen demolished Willem 7:1 and have not lost to them at home in the last 13 years, scoring 14 goals in the last 3 overall games between the two. Euroborg should see a good solid win for the home side here and goals are to be expected as well.
