TAMPA BAY RAYS TO WIN AT ODDS 2.35

Final result: 8 - 10
Profit: 21.15 - 9 = 12.15

The Rays (65-54) look to win the four-game series against the Angels (62-58) in Los Angeles.

Tampa Bay won the first two meetings of this series against Los Angeles while outscoring the Angels with 19-3 and I expect more of the same today.

The Rays give the ball to Alex Cobb (7-8 4.08 ERA). He has been really solid in his last three trips to the hill, posting a 1.29 ERA during that span. Cobb has also good numbers against the Angels in his career, but could not earn the win (3-1 loss) in his only match against them this season though he pitched really well (7.1 innings). Los Angeles tries to counter with left hander C.J. Wilson (9-9 3.32 ERA). He is on a rough stretch since the All-Star break, posting also a huge 6.88 ERA in his last three trips to the hill.

Tampa Bay Rays are 10-1 in the last 11 meetings against Los Angeles, while the Rays are also 9-2 in their last 11 overall.
They are also 9-2 since Evan Longoria returned after missing 85 games with a hamstring injury.

Teams and pitchers are going the opposite direction and there is no way that the Rays are such a dog today. Price at 2.35 for the Tampa Bay Rays to win represents enough value for high stakes.

I already lost to a similar situation, when I backed the Nationals earlier this season against the Diamondbacks, where they led with 9-0 (after the 6th) but managed to lose the match with 10-11. That was a little bit more brutal. Anyway, just fair play here :)
