BEST PANATHINAIKOS VS MALAGA PREDICTION

Panathinaikos +0.25 (AH)
Tipped at: 1.66 - 28th Aug 15:12
Champions League qualifications match between the teams on Panathinaikos and Malaga CF.For this second leg the team from Greece are need of more attacks and more goals because this 0:2 almost means their team is out of that to reach the group stage on the Champions League. For sure Malaga CF was deserved winner in the first match, but the team wasnt so good in the last round clash versus Real Mallorca at home for 1:1.Today we can see more than 2 goals because the home team will attack more, while Malaga CF love to play on counter attack and they can punished one or twice the opponents today. The defense on Malaga CF wasnt so solid ,but Panathinaikos also wasnt so agressive team in the first leg.Today my expectations are for something different and over 2 goals.

Winning 2-0 from the first leg was ensure for Malaga too much before the return leg. Against Panathinaikos inferior in class, though the home soil form of the home team is pretty good with four wins in the last six games, but scored against Malaga, who is getting a stable psychologically at the moment is not easy. In addition, the team have given to rest a lot of pillars in the draw with Mallorca last week to taking care for a flight to Greece tonight. A draw or a win for the away team will be a prediction can completely true.

Panathinaikos: Karnezis – Boumsong, Vyntra, Spiropoulos, Velázquez – Vitolo, Katsouranis, Zeca, Mavrias – Fornaroli, Sissoko.

Malaga: Caballero – Demichelis, Monreal, Weligton, Gámez – Joaquín, Toulalan, Maresca, Eliseu – Isco, Olinga.

Panathinaikos to win

This is the second leg of the last qualification rounds for the UEFA Champions League. The previous game was 2-0 for Malaga.

Panathinaikos started this summer with many problems and barely made the deadlines for the UEFA participation. As a result they did not have the resources to build a competitive team either for Europe or the Greek League. Their first leg performance was disappointing and in week 1 in Super League, even though they did get the 3 points, they did not have a persuasive game.

Malaga on the other hand showed a lot of quality in the first leg, despite their problems. They have collected 4 points in their first two games for Primera Division and with a bit more luck they could have made a 2 out 2. Good news for Malaga is that Sheik Abdullah Al Thani is staying at the team keeping a peaceful mood in the locker rooms.

I believe Malaga has enough to beat Panathinaikos also in Greece.

Panathinaikos - Malaga Malaga to win

I am tipping Panathinaikos with an Asian handicap of 0.0. This equates to exactly the same as a Draw No Bet but you get better odds on the Asian lines (the majority of time). Best odds are 1.94 with Pinnacle.

My tips mainly involve English and Spanish clubs as those are the 2 leagues I watch religiously. I live in Malaga as well so get to see a lot of them.

I've watched all 3 of Malaga's matches so far this season and they have been poor. They won 1-0 at Celta Vigo but in all honesty they should have lost. They then beat Panathinaikos 2-0 last week, and although they were the better team, the away side did create chances but couldn't score. Then at the weekend they drew 1-1 at home to Mallorca. Malaga controlled the game without ever really threatening to score, then Mallorca scored with a counter attack and this forced Malaga to come out and attack. They brought on Juanmi. A young striker with lots of potential and he scored the equaliser. A fair result.

Malaga are in deep trouble financially. This week they sold Enzo Maresca to Sampdoria on a free transfer. He was one of their best players in this fixture last week and they will miss him in the middle of the park controlling play.

Last season Malaga were always poor on their travels and this season was no different in their opener at Celta Vigo. Travelling away to Greece is never easy for any team and I am expecting Malaga to struggle. They won't go there to attack as they lead 2-0. They will try to soak up pressure and get counter attacks. I can't see it working though. Panathinaikos know they need goals and will attack non-stop right from kick-off.

I fancy Panathinaikos to win the game and win to nil is a good option, available at odds of 4.00. The FTR odds are also good but I will take the insurance of DNB just in case they do fail to break them down or Malaga manage to score. Prediction would be 2-0 or 3-0 to Panathinaikos.
