BERANKIS TO WIN AT ODDS 1.50
Final result: 2 - 1Profit: 13.50 - 9 = 4.5
Berankis opted to rest before Us Open after very good July on hard courts. After busy schedule he lost the Final in Winnetka to Patrick-Smith after taking a lead (set up and then break up in decider). Then he was beaten by Nishikori in Atlanta. Followed that by reaching Final in Los Angeles being a qualifier. At the end of July he lost in 2nd round in Washington to Fish. All players he has lost to are either former top 10 or current top 20 (either place or ability). He had some problems in the first round (after missing set points against Texeira he collapsed losing 4 straight games, but recovered very well to take the set and in the decider gave opponent no chances winning 6-1). Farah had good run in Aptos challenger where he reached Final, losing to Johnson in straight sets. What I am not impressed in his play is weak tactics, he just puts ball back from corner to corner hoping opponent finally will make an error. This can be useful against low profile players, but Berankis in current form and after some bad play against Texiera which he overcame should be fully focused here.
