I was right with handicap, but not with the winner. Tsonga showed his best in Tie Break against Stakhovsky and in the second set when he missed some break points chances (some of them saved in style by Stakhovsky) to finally break at 4all to serve the match out. I think he was honest in the statement that after poor loss in Montreal he wants some run of wins to get best possible shape and confidence. He showed that in Doha just at the start of the year. Gulbis had all chances in the world to win against very poor especially on serve Granollers, but simply didn’t care after winning a set. He missed some 0-40 and 0-30 on Spaniard serves and himself was serving well below any standard. I think Tsonga will do it relatively easy and set up meeting with Isner.
