Murray looked really poor at times against not better Bogomolov. At the same time Dodig was really impressive against Moriya and playing against these qualifiers, who are feeling the courts already. Murray skipped all tournaments on hard before US Open after loss to Chardy, so – the same as during Wimbledon he will be practicing his game during matches here, so finding form can require losing sets, again like during Wimbledon. What is more he tends to struggle against big servers in the early rounds. He has lost set to Karlovic (who is in very poor form) during Wimbledon. I think there is a chance he will try to practice against other big server here a bit longer.
