Voskoboeva was resting after her ‘undeserved” loss to Wickmayer during Wimbledon in the 2nd round. She has lost all subsequent matches since first round here which was trashing of fighter Rus, so really impressive stuff. She has big game and especially serve is huge asset on these courts. Hlavackova is doubles partner of Hradecka who, as predicted lost to Burdette (also big hitter as Voskoboeva) before facing Sharapova. Here the winner will play against Kirilenko who is in great form, she has lost recently only against top 10 and even there was close to win at times, so surely any of these players won’t have a chance to win there. That logic makes an analogy here to the Burdette-Hradecka match. Of course motivation of Voskoboeva (who is not home player like Burdette) is under question as well. Both players are good servers so it won’t be easy to break, I think that both will be equally motivated, a bit at ease to play a good match here.
