The hosts, managed by ex Brazil and Chelsea manager Luis Filippe, are on a bad run of form in the league and after some promising wins in the Copa Sundamerica and the league they have since gone 5 games without a win in all competitions. Last time out they drew 0-0 at home to Gremio who are flying high so this must give them some confidence.

Prior to that scoreline they lost 2-1, 3-1, 2-1 and 3-0. At home they only have 1 win in 5 games so to back them here to win seems a risk to me.

The value bet, in my humble opinion, is under 2.5gls on the assumption that the hosts lack some confidence, they do not score many goals (4 in last 7). It would be unusual to see them score more than once which happened last away at Botafogo (2-1).

The visitors are tight in defence and do not score many. They beat Santos at home 2-1 last time out however Santos play an open game that allows for goals.
