Velotti suffered from some injury, but haven’t retired, so the big score Odesnik had in his first round appearance can be a bit misleading regarding his form. In fact after the Fo, he has reached only 2 QF in 4 tournaments he has played and he managed to win only 2 matches in straight sets during that stretch (both in the first rounds). Gonzalez has played quite a lot tournaments recently. It is his 8th since the beginning of the June, he reached one Semi-Final during this period of time. Recently his form was not good, but on the bright side he has played on clay and had contact with tennis. He showed great mental strength to come back from 2-6 to win a match against Hocevar. I think this kind of attitude should make this match very hard for Odesnik, despite his easy win here against the same Gonzalez in 2008.
