Gimeno Traver is in great shape, he has won Seville challenger beating Robredo in the Final and here he won against Serra in the first round here. Kubot was rather fortunate that Istomin was really dreadful on b’s and few his own service games just after he won the opening set. Kubot had only few good first servers, around 1 of 3. Traver has lost both times when facing Kubot, both times on clay. I think in this form he can give some troubles to Kubot even on this surface which is quite slow and rallies are possible and I don’t think Kubot will serve a lot better than against Istomin.
