The Japanese Kei Nishikori and the Argentitian Juan Monaco will fight for a chance at the title in Kuala Lumpur. Monaco is a very good player on clay, but he is very vulnerable on fast surfaces like this one. It's true that he didn't lose any set here but that's just because he met weak opponents. NIshikori likes better this kind of surfaces and even if he lost a set against Ramos in the first round he looked a lot better against Davydenko.
