It's the first round in Tokyo and the Finish Jarko Nieminen will face the Spaniard Tommy Robredo. Nieminen has played great lately, he won both of his encounters at the Davis Cup and then had a very good tournament in Bangkok where he reached the semifinals, losing to Gasquet. Robredo is Spaniard so his favorite surface is the clay. He just attended 2 challengers , playing and losing the final on both of them. He didn't play a match on hard court since the US Open so I am sure he will need some time to adapt his game.
