PAKISTAN TO WIN

The last of the Super 8 games tomorrow and first up is the Aussies v Pakistan. Pakistan on their day can beat anyone, they are just horribly inconsistent. That said, they have to win to qualify and I will back their team to turn up and get the job done.

Shane Watson has been incredible so far for Australia, and Warner/Hussey/Starc/Cummins have all played well. The rest of their team is very much untested. I'm not expecting Doherty or Hogg to cause the Pakistan team too many problems whereas the Pakistan spinners are more than capable of causing serious inroads into the Australian batting line-up. Basically IF Pakistan can get Warner & Watson early, they will become strong favourites

Only the second time this tournament I feel the odds have been priced up wrong. I expected odds on Pakistan to be around 2.1, so the 2.25 available is worth a decent punt.

As an aside, keep an eye out for the odds in the India v SA game during this match. IF PAKISTAN WIN, India can still go through but SA will be out and will have nothing to play for. If Pakistan look strong favourites to win their game, grab the 1.91 (or anything 1.85 or better) on India as it will surely drop to 1.75ish by the start if SA have no hope of qualifying. And vice versa, IF AUSTRALIA look strong favourites to win, get SA @ 2.1 (or anything better than 2.0) as I think they will drop to 1.9ish if a win means they will qualify.
