I am getting on these odds early as i can see punters getting on Thornton and pushing the odds down.

Yes, i agree Thornton was lucky to come through against Taylor, with The Power missing darts for the match but that was in the deciding leg of the 5th set as Thornton pushed him all the way.

Thornton was absolutely devastating on double top, rarely missing it at all and was good on the other doubles too hittiing 40%, which is very good.
He also managed an average of ober 96 and hit 8 180's. In a double in format, the last 2 stats are very impressive. Thornton also averaged 94 in his first match against Walsh

He has now won 14 from 15 matches after reaching the final on Saturday losing to Michael Van Gerwen.

Thornton has already beaten King twice last week, as well as Anderson and Newton and even beat Taylor in the recent UK Open final.
To have beaten King twice recently will be a big boost to him especially as his doubling is the best in this tournament so far so beating him again should be even easier. Thornton has also beaten King the last 5 times.

It was only Chisnall's poor doubling yesterday that gave King a 3-1 victory. Chisnall missed doubles to send it to a deciding set but couldnt capitalise.

There is alot of value in these odds and i dont expect them to stay around for long.
To put it bluntly, he is playing the best darts of anyone at the moment so you'd be crazy to go against him.
