Derby match of the first round is definitely the one in Madrid where Real meets Panathinaikos. My choice for this match is over this additional line, because of lot of reasons.
Real Madrid has Rudy Fernandez back in team. He was in last season roster because of NBA lock out and efficiency with him in team and number of points on matches when he played and after that is big difference. Also with roster Real has in this season it looks like they will have more offensive solutions than they had last year.
The same is with Panathinaikos who has changed roster a lot, but now they are younger and faster and they can easily score 80 or more to any Euroleagu opponent.
The interesting fact is change of the balls from Nike to Spalding. Spalding balls are much softer and easier to handle so it is probably one of the reasons why Euroleague day one was very efficient.
In my opinion Pao and Real can combine over 161,5 points in this match.
