Starcraft 2 game from GSL Season 5 Up & Downs. Best of 1.

It's only a pair of days since we had GSL Code S Season 4 Finals, when we start Season 5 with the Up & Downs. I'm happy, preffer to watch and bet on the koreans way more than I do on the europeans... and I get better results too.

I'm running three different bets for this first group of the Up & Down games.

First of all, I really believe HyuN has everything on his hands to beat MMA. There are different reasons for that. We have HyuN being a beast in all the online tournaments he participates, and being slightly worse when he appears at the GOM studio but still playing amazing, in my opinion.
Then we have MMA, who left the SlayerS house some weeks ago and has been practising from home. Everytime he has tríed to practice from his parents home, it hasn't worked for him, and now that he is teamless I don't think it's going to be any better for him. His historical results against Zergs are great, but that doesn't mean much when we consider his recent results, with a mere 8-7 record in 2012, and some of those were against poor players, or his loss against Sirius a pair of weeks ago, when Sirius is way less experienced than him.
I think Hyun will win this, and odds aren't great for a best of 1 but the map, Whirlwind, can't do anything but help the TSL player.


Then we have BBongBBong against Hack.
This is another ZvT match, played on Abyssal City. The map favours zergs a lot, unles the terran happens to be Mvp and he manages to punish his opponents... but really, this map is nicknamed Zerg City for a reason.
Then again, the last we know from Hack is that he likes to cheese, as he showed when facing Squirtle just last week, but that doesn't necessarily mean that much. I think that BBongBBong will come with very good strategies against terrans, because he has to face 3 of them and he has both a great coach and great practice partners for the match up.
Hack is not a great TvZ player, but he will fight, the odds are high for BBongBBong for a reason, but I think the zerg comes more prepared for this encounter.

Thelast game I will play will be JyP against Hack.
I usually don't like to bet twice on the same player for the Up & Downs but JyP is a player that has been training his PvT really hard lately, and despite losing to Maru this past week by 2-0 the result doesn't reflect how the matches were.
JyP also has good friends in Korea, who have been helping him in the recent months for his PvT and his results here will matter on just this match up.
Hack is, from the terrans here, the worst against protosses. He doesn't have much outs, I don't think he will cheese here, because it would be too obvious, but JyP will definetely be ready for it. I believe that Hack will try to hit a well timed attack, but this will be played on Entombed Valley, a map that is usually protoss favoured because of how easy it is to take a third base and defend it. It is also a lot harder to make drop strategies work here (mainly a terran strategy), so I think this plays on JyP's side.
JyP has 2 games on this map today, reason enough for him to bring a good strategy here.


There are more games that look nice, specially anything involving "MMA to lose". I've been thinking of playing BBongBBong over MMA but I'm still deciding about it.
