Florian Mayer is currently 28th in the rankings with 23-24 record this year. He has a good complete game, returns good and serve is decent too, in fact he holds a better record on clay than on hard courts. He was playing good tennis in Asia but had to withdraw from meeting with Murray due to injury and returned last week in Stockholm where lost to Berankis in three sets after winning first.

Matosevic is ranked 51st and holds a 16-18 record this year. His game has improved since joining forces with same coach who coaches Hewitt but he doesn't have one big weapon to surprise his opponents with on these hard courts. In last game he got destroyed by Del Potro 26 26 player who is good baseliner with strong strokes and good return and i expect Mayer to take Matosevic apart here hopefully in two sets.
