Both players showed very good form so far here after not so good last months. Dolgopolov had no problems in breaking Muller and trashed injured Granollers. Melzer took care of two Belgium players in a row Malisse and Goffin in straight sets as well. This meeting is the same as it was in Beijing nearly a month ago. Melzer won in 3 sets. That time it was for place in QF to face Djokovic, this time it is for place in Final to face most probably Ferrer (Dodig there would be real miracle), so more points for ranking to gain. I think that it will be even more tight than their last meeting as both looked in very good form so far here and it is highly unlikely that after reaching Semi Final any of them will just tank here.
