LA Lakers probably never in their history lost all games in preseason. But exactly this happened to them now after they were 0-8.
Beside not so good form before the start of the new season, they also have problems with injuries. The best player and team scorer - Kobe Bryant has foot injury and wont play couple opening games. Also Dwight Howard who came from Orlando Magic and who is now second start in the team is questionable. Still, most likely he will play but with limited time on the floor. Also Steve Nash is far from good form.
On the other side, Dallas Mavericks are with even bigger worries. Their best player and first team scorer - Dirk Nowitcki will miss start of the season. Plus another German player, Kaman is injured.
Without best players and top scorers on both sides, my opinion is that both teams wil have problems in offense, so from my point of view this wont be too much high scoring game.
Looking at preseason results: Lakers five times above and three times under this line, while Mavericks three times above and five times under 185.5 total scored points.
