LA CLIPPERS TO WIN BY OVER 4.5 POINTS AT ODDS 2.10

NBA action is back with LA Clippers hosting the Memphis Grizzlies in their home opener.

The Clippers have entered the new season with high expectations to not only make the playoffs but also to make a deep run at the title. On paper the Clippers look like they're good enough to go that far. They will build their game around stars Chris Paul and Blake Griffin with added support and experience in Lamar Odom, Grant Hill and Jamal Crawford. The Clips looked very solid and cohesive in the preseason winning their last 3 home games and 5 of their last 6 overall including wins against Utah, Denver and the Lakers.

Memphis are hoping to go a little further into the playoffs this season and have returned a majority of their starters. Zach Randolph, RudyGay, Mike Conley and Marc Gasol all return while OJ Mayo and Dante Cunningham have left the team. Their preseason was 50/50, literally going 4 from 8 winning only once away at Milwaulkee.

It's hard to make proper predictions so early in the season, however I have liked what I've seen from he Clips in the preseason. I think they have improved as a team whereas Memphis has probably gone a little backwards. One stat that needs to be noted is that the Griz have lost their last 11 season openers. I think the home team will have the advantage in this first game and I like them to win by 5+.
