PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS +9.5 TO WIN AT ODDS 1.83
Final result: 106 - 92Profit: 0.00 - 8 = -8
The Trail Blazers (1-0) should not be such a big dog against the Thunder (0-1) in Oklahoma City.
Portland won their season opener with 116-106 over the Lakers at home, while the Thunder came a bit short in a 86-84 loss in San Antonio.
Oklahoma City lost the best 6th man James Harden to the Rockets and that is a huge blow. However, the team will surely make the playoffs and still is a strong one. However, both starts (Durant, Westbrook) struggled in the season opener and the Thunder will need some time to click on all cylinders. It does not help that the home team will be back to back today after a tough road match in San Antonio. Portland on the other hand looked really solid in the opener, especially offensively. They are a young fast team, with "veteran" Aldridge (27 years) leading the way, while 6th overall pick PG Lilliard looked really solid in his debut (22 points).
The spread seems to be a bit too high, considering that the Thunder will be back to back against a fast Trail Blazers team. Price at 1.83 for the Portland Trail Blazers +9.5 to win represents enough value for high stakes.
