BEST WOLVERHAMPTON VS BLACKBURN PREDICTION

13. Blackburn 25 9 8 8 35:33 35
18. Wolves 26 9 4 13 32:38 31

Both side were considered among the play-offs places for going back to Premier League at the beginning of the season but their miserable performances made home side for example to fight not to be relegated even from Championship while the guests to struggle to keep a safe place in the second part of the table.
Anything can happen here as many times in this competition but the recent rounds showed an improvement of the guests who won last 2 matches in which have scored 6 goals and allowed only one goal.
While home side is without a single win in last 4 rounds and I expect to see them to struggle one more time to take points from this match.
Wolverhampton concede 1.6 goals on average in 26 matches this season

Wolverhampton to win

Wolves struggles continued with a shock defeat at Luton and they look to be up against it when hosting in-form Blackburn, who have won three out of three since Henning Berg’s departure. The away side have an array of attacking talent and are likely to cause Wolves plenty of problems. Blackburn have drawn alot away from home but i think with the way Blackburn have been playing great football lately together with Wolves who have been playing shockinly poor lately, i will take a chance on great odds for an away win, with medium stakes.

Wolves have lost the last four games and scored just once in the process Blackburn are looking good again so i will have a small stake on Blackburn to win at very good odds.

Wolves at home in the Championship this season have won 4, Drawn 4 and lost 5 and Blackburn Away in the Championship this season have won 3, Darwn 7 and lost 3.
England » Championship 2012/2013
Wolves – Blackburn

Wolves will come to this game from 18th place with 31 points from 26 games: 9 wins, 4 draw and 13 losses.
They scored 32 goals and conceded 38.
At home they have 4 wins, 4 draws and 5 losses. They scored 16 goals and conceded 19.

The visitors Blackburn are in 13th place with 35 points from 25 games: 9 wins, 8 draws and 8 losses. They scored 35 goals and conceded 33.
In their away games they have 3 win, 7 draws and 3 loses. They scored 21 goals and conceded 19.

In the first game this season in Blackburn, Wolves surprised and won 1-0.
I think we have a good chance in here for draw but the fact that Blackburn didn't lose 10 games from 13 away games convinced me to go with them in this game.

My first pick: Blackburn +0.5 at odds 1.61

Good-luck!
Wolverhampton to win

Wolverhampton Wanderers are hosting Blackburn Rovers for Championship game at their Molineux Stadium. I think Wolves will not win this game and my reasons are:
1. Generally after coming to play Championship this season the Wolves haven shown some improvements in their performance. There more or less the same squad that relegate from Premier League last May. The current form of the club is very low – 4 lost games and 1 win in the last 5 games. It is hard to think that home win can be easily expected.
2. The only positive thing here is that Wolves are having a new manager after Stale Solbakken was sacked. The new name is Dean Saunders and this will be his first game leading the Wolves. Typically when new manager is assigned the team shows improvement in the play but I do not think that the boys from Midlands have the strength to do so. They have changed few managers in the last year and the results are just not coming.
3. In the head to head games between both former Premier League rivals we see that in the last 7 games Wolves won 2, 1 draw and 4 wins for Rovers. It is interesting that the last 4 games between both teams was always win by the team which is visiting so probably the trend can continue. The last game was won from Wolves at Rovers stadium.
4. Blackburn Rovers has recently also been assigned a new Manager – Gary Bowyer. After his arrival the team has 3 wins (2 home and 1 away) so it is hard to believe that the club can lose from a team which is not in very good form.
So I am thinking of a draw but will back it up with a away win and will try double chance at Bet365 at odds 1.57.
This is a bet on todays match in the English Championship between Wolves, number 18 in the leagus and Blackburn who are number 13

Wolves has just fired Ståle Solbakken after a bad season and 4 loses in the las 6 matches. They have only scored 4 goals in the last 6 matches also which is lowest in the league.

Blackburn is not much bettter with only 7 points in the last 6 matches - however 6 of those 7 came in the last 2 matches plus a win in the FA cup gives them 3 wins in a row. They are currently without manager but Michael Appelton is expected to be signed shortly.

A very even maches but the scale tips to Blackburn with their recent form.

The bet is DNB which means "Draw no bet"

Wolverhampton is with a new manager after a catastrophic FA Cup loss against Luton, but the first match after Ståle Solbakken is against a tough opponent in Blackburn and I don't think Wolves will be able to recope right at first.

Both teams, who relegated from Premier League last season, have disappointed with Wolves currently being in 18th in the Championship and Blackburn being in 13th. If we however take a look at the team's forms, two completely different scenarios appear, and this is where I find value in Blackburn not losing.

Wolverhamption is in terrible shape with losses in the last four matches, including a 1-0 loss against Luton from the Conference in the FA Cup just five days ago. They lost their last two home games 0-3 against Peterborough (21st) and 0-2 against Ipswich (19th).

On the other hand, Blackburn is on a streak with wins in their last three matches, including one against Notthingham who's in 11th place. I haven't been able to find much about injuries, so it seems like that isn't much of an issue. If I find anything I'll of course update this space with it.

Otherwise I see fine value in Blackburn not losing this match at acceptable odds 1.60. I found it at Bet365, but it may be higher elsewhere.
