Of course this is not an easy to win bet, but Ravens have showed their power in the last few years and they won't give up on Denver so easily. Ravens QB Flacco had a very impressive season, improving his last year's numbers.
Runner Backs Pierce and Rice are averaging 118.8 rushing yards per game, a little better than Denver rushing offense, but on the other hand, Denver's QB P. Manning has the best numbers in NFL.
In their last game, Baltimore showed a rock solid defense and they will count on extra-motivated legend Ray Lewis that will look toward to say goodbye to his professional carrer in the best of the ways, by defeating a solid team as Denver leaded by the best QB in NFL history.

you are obviously right, Denver is a tremendous team but I'm looking for the surprise. In games like this anything could happen.

Nice analysis, but I have a big problem with this bet. It is callled Joe Flacco [image] . Maybe the stats show this and that, but the guy is terrible. He "shows up" every fifth game with a solid performance and even then it is against Chiefs or Jaguars... If you saw the game between these two teams in regular season, you know what I am talking about. Ravens defense did played well against the Colts, but they are not on the same level as they were in previous seasons. The only way to keep this one close, is to give the ball to Rice and Pierce as often as possible, and even then, they will probably fall short. I believe we will see the Broncos in the superbowl this year. EVen though I do not agree with you pick, thums up for good reasoning and the courage to pull the trigger on this one [image]
