Home side Conte announced that he will be using some of the players that didn’t play that much during the season in a interview he tried to cover up the rumors saying that they are negotiating with Drogba. Meanwhile some of the players are injured and unavailable, Conte decided to rotate the squad and Pirlo, Quagliarella and Marchisio are doubtful due injuries, while Pepe, Chiellini and Bendtner are surely out.


Milan, on the other side, welcomed Siena in a previous game, not being able to threaten them in the first halftime. Second halftime saw both teams coming up with improved performance, as Bojan took Milan to lead in 67th minute, while the home side added another goal with a penalty in 80th minute. While the guests were only able to reduce their lead by the end of the full time whistle forming a final 2:1 result.

Milan didn’t play well, but they managed to get the victory and make the best possible start in 2013. Although not playing always at the highest possible level, they still have five victories out of last six matches, as the team still can’t win the title but have improved largely in comparison to the start of the season. Same as his colleague, guests coach will also rotate the squad as defensive midfielders Bonera, Zapata are surely out, same as goalkeeper Abbiati and defender Constant. Striker Robinho is also out for the third consecutive week.

Due rotation of both squads, the game itself will be quite unpredictable for betting. However, it surely should be an open match resulting in both teams to score at least once, just like it was the case in most of their mutual matches in recent years.
