England's ODI series begins this Friday vs India

I have decided to go with Ian Bell as top batsmen for the visitors. 7/2 aren't the greatest odds in the world given Morgan, Cook and Pieterson will also be expected to score highly.

Lots of reasons why I chose Bell. Firstly new coach Giles will give him a prolonged chance opening the batting. The fact he will open gives him maximum opportunity to get big scores. In the 2 warm up games he scored over 200 games in total which was considerably more than anyone else managed.

Not only this but he averages over 55 in ODIs in 2012. He has a point to prove and will want to cement his place in the team and finally get to open the batting for England at the next world cup
