Denis Istomin is set to take on Ryan Sweeting in the first round of the ATP San Jose (Indoor hard) coming off the back of a decent run of form in 2013 beating the likes of Verdasco, Sijsling, Duckworth and Klizan. Istomin has an impressive record on hard courts with a W/L ratio of 58/47 and in terms of H2H stats Istomin dominates 2-0 beating the American in straight sets on hard court last year (6-2 6-1).
