The FA Cup continues after big suprise with defeat of Arsenal at home to Blackburn, the biggest shock of this round of games. Championship clubs are going well in this competition primarily because the gulf between Premier and championship is not as great as the pundits make people believe, also 1st level clubs can underestimate opponents, play second string teams with unmotivated players.

I don;t think Wigan players will be unprofessional here, Wigan are struggling in the league and have done well to this point although had easier route through beating Bournemouth and Macclesfield narrowly. Huddersfield I think will be far harder opponents on their home ground, they beat Leicester away in the 4th round replay and despite sacking of manager Grayson are unbeaten at home in 8 games holding leaders Cardiff to 0-0 draw in the last home game.

Two other big factors for choosing this bet 1) Mark Robins has joined from Coventry as new manager so the new manager effect on players and fans, Robins is also v promising young manager and has done well in every club he's managed 2) Martinez Wigan boss says he will give some of the fringe players a chance again, maybe mix between these and 1st team but no way will he field strongest X1, even strongest X1 may have a hard game here. The second string have done well until now.

So to conclude I think Wigan will have a tough game and I think Huddersfield will take a replay so minimum will be a draw and the bet wins. The Huddersfield chairman is also v ambitious and will want a strong showing here particularly with appointment of new manager.
