BEST SPAIN VS TAHITI PREDICTION

Spain -7.50 (AH)
Tipped at: 1.90 - 20th Jun 05:51
Group B
1. Nigeria 1 1 0 0 6:1 3
2. Spain 1 1 0 0 2:1 3
3. Uruguay 1 0 0 1 1:2 0
4. Tahiti 1 0 0 1 1:6 0

I didn't saw the match of Nigeria with Tahiti but read some reports and saw some highlights and the amateur team from Oceania is by far the weakest team has ever competed in an important competition and even if Spain will use the reserves has the power to score 10 goals and the only thing remained to be seen will be if will want to smply trash their opponent or at some point stop from attacking and just keep the ball in play.
My call 8 goals difference is not much since Nigeria put 5 goals difference and all are aware of the African side problems.

PS: The bet is Spain -7.25 goals not 7.5 goals but this option is not possible!

Yes, there is no mistake! This bet is on a football match.

Spain and Tahiti will play their second game in Group B at “Estadio do Maracana” in Rio de Janeiro. As was expected, the Spaniards showed excellent football in their opening game against Uruguay and deservedly won 2-1 (Spain – Uruguay 2-1 on 16.06.2013). Vicente del Bosque has a group of 23 equivalent players, as seventeen of them have at least one title from big international tournaments over the last five years.

The Spaniards dominated in their game against Uruguay, as they controlled the ball in more than 70 % of the time, allowing only two shots on goal during the entire match. Vicente del Bosque will probably make some changes in the starting line-up, compared with the game against Uruguay, but no matter who will start for Spain in this match, “La Furia Roja” is huge favourite against Tahiti. Three points from this game will qualify Spaniards for the semi-finals of the tournament, but considering the potential of their opponents, I think, that there is a huge chance of Spain underestimating their opponents, or at least to score less goals, than it is expected.

There is no doubt, that Tahiti is the biggest outsider on this tournament. The Tahitians started their campaign with a heavy 1-6 loss against Nigeria on Monday (Tahiti – Nigeria 1-6 on 17.06.2013), but the supremacy of Nigeria was even greater, than the final result indicates. On the other hand, I expect, that Eddy Etaeta will choose a very defensive tactic for this game, as the main task for his team will be not to concede too many goals against one of the best teams in the World.

I doubt, that Tahiti will manage to score against Spain, but at the same time, to score nine or more goals is a difficult task even for a team like “La Furia Roja”.

So, my bet is for less than nine goals at “Estadio do Maracana”.
This ones doesn't really need a write up apart from I wouldn't be suprised to see Spain reach 20 something nil Nigeria had a hat full of chances and really should have reached double figures themselves. Spain will camp in their half and would go as far as saying they won't actually need a goalkeeper. I think my Sunday team would give Tahiti a good game.

As for Tahiti I didn't bet on the first game they played in as I wasn't sure what to expect from them. But they are dire, and if it wasn't for the lack of quality in the Oceanic Zone they would be very low in the World Rankings.

I think there will be even more, a world class team against a pub side, can you really see Spain squander as many chances as Nigeria, if they had scored all their easy opportunities then surely they too would have reached double figures, Spain will IMO record their biggest ever victory tonight and why not as all the players will want to score a couple lol anyway I think the odds are good here. Basically I believe there will be at least a goal every 7 and a half minutes, enjoy the odds here guys, if this scares you then over 8.5 at 2.1 @ Pinnacle giving 10 mins per goal! I believe this game is giving punters license to print money could easily double your bank IMO on over 8.5 but it could be fantastic, I have gone with over 12.5 and over 8.5 with the same money therefore making my money back on the over 12.5 if we hit 9 goals and whose to say this wont be first half. Guaranteed no-one with any sense would pick under 4.5 first half goals, or would you?

Tahiti: Certainly the weaker team in the Confederations Cup, the selection Tahitian has only one professional player in the group of 23 players, is the striker Marama Vahirua, which belongs to Nancy France, the more, the selection is made by accountants, personal trainers, technicians and tradespeople football school.

Debuting in a Confederations Cup, goals from Tahiti are modest, all the team wants is to make a goal in the tournament, having no pretensions to reach the conquest of one point for example, what they want is to play football and have fun , no boom, that's not how the team operates.

As for Spain, needs no introduction, but left his business card and explicit in the first part of the match against Uruguay. Possession almost total, tiki-taka ever present, total control of the actions of the game, hiding the ball from the opponent so that it can not even think about stretching your game.

Group B Standings

Team MP W D L GF GA Pts
Nigeria 1 1 0 0 6 1 3
Spain 1 1 0 0 2 1 3
Uruguay 1 0 0 1 1 2 0
Tahiti 1 0 0 1 1 6 0

This is promising to be the highest scoring game of the tournament as the favorite Spain takes on tournament outsiders Tahiti. Spain won their first match against Uruguay 2-1 while Tahiti were beaten 6-1 by Nigeria. This will be one sided affair and it will be no surprise if La Roja reaches double figures. There is no value in backing Spain to win with a handicap or backing over in the goals market. Tahiti conceded 2 goals in the opening 10 minutes so i think there is value backing Spain to get the lead very early in the match. Also an own goal might be likely as Tahiti will park the bus.

10 Minute Result - Spain @ 1.83
Own Goal - Yes @ 4.33

Spain and Tahiti are against each other tonight in this Confederations Cup match. This match will be played in Jornalista Mario Filho Stadium of Rio de Janeiro and in my opinion this must be an interesting match as Spain must be able to trash Tahiti with a huge advantage seeing to what it happened in the first matches of the group.

Tahiti traveled with the full squad in this match but still their squad is very weak and almost being compared to an amateur team. They lost with the result 6-1 in the first match despite that Nigeria did had many chances to score even more than six goals.

In the other side Spain played a great match on Sunday to beat Uruguay with the result 2-1 by not using an of their strikers David Villa of Fernando Torres so they most probably will have an opportunity to play in this match with other quality players as David Silva, Juan Mata, Santi Cazorla.

In my opinion Spain would have it really easy to beat Tahiti in this second match of the group but not only beat them as they have the quality and power to trash Tahiti in the best way that they can so ill take Spain with handicap.

In the first match Nigeria were dominating against Tahiti, they had full control of the match. N. Oduamadi has finished the match with three goals and even defender Elderson managed to score twice! The class of these players could not be compared to the World class players Spain has. Spain's attacking lineup is more than great. With the players like Pedro, Villa, Soldado, Torres, Fabregas, Iniesta, Cazorla Spain should dominate against every opponent. The question who will start the upcoming match. I think this doesn't matter as Tahiti will fail to stop these strikers. Their defence was terrible against Nigeria, they made many mistakes and Spain should take a use of such mistakes. They had ball control for about 70% when facing Uruguay so even bigger advantage is expected against Tahiti and nine-ten goals are not too much for the team like this who will play against the team that consists of the semi-proffesional players.
