Cardiff have had a decent start to their first season in the Premiership with 5 points from 4 games, most noticeably though was their 3-2 victory over Manchester City. Their last game at the Cardiff City Stadium was a 0-0 draw with Everton and they drew 1-1 at Hull in the battle of the newly promoted teams.

Tottenham have got 3 wins from their 4 games, only Arsenal who beat them have scored against them in them 4 games. They played on Thursday with a weakened side in the Europa League and got a 3-0 win over Tromso, but they picked up some injuries. This is where their squad will be tested, Lennon, Rose, Chadli and Capoue are all out and Dembele is a doubt.

Cardiff's success this season may come down to their home form but here they face a very good Tottenham side who have picked up an average of 1.87 points per game in their last 15 away, scoring an average of 1.73 goals per game.

Cardiff sprung a surprise by beating Man City but I don't see that happening again. They scored 2 goals from 3 corners in that game, with Lloris, Dawson and Vertonghen, I don't see them getting that here.

Spurs have had a slow start to the season and with Erikson coming in he could provide the catalyst to kick on. I going with a Tottenham win covering the draw.

Tottenham +0 is 1.41 with Pinnacle

Daniel James has a stake of 8/10 in winning this bet.
