Manchester City have made a very good start to the premier league and to date their only slip up has been away to rivals Manchester United. They are boosted by the return from suspension of Emmanuel Adebayor from suspension and the return of Santa Cruz to full fitness. Aston Villa have made a good start this season however I think it should be noted that other than Liverpool all the teams they have played are in the bottom half of the table and last time out lost to Blackburn who played twenty minutes with ten men. Manchester City currently sit sixth in the table but can leap up to third with a win here and move within three points of top spot with a game in hand.
