Orica-GreenEdge is making its first
appearance at the 99th Tour de France this on Saturday, 30th
June 2012. The team’s objective is to put their focus not on the maillot jaune
but rather will be putting more of their effort on the green jersey.

Matthew Goss
Leading them to their quest to hunt the sprint stage wins will be the team captain and sprinter specialist Matthew Goss of Australia. Winning a stage victory at Giro d’Italia and Tirreno-Adriatico, he is a contender to challenge the winner green jersey winner of Tour de France 2011 Mark Cavendish (SKY) to win again this year and the teams hope will be riding on him for the points classification.
Michael Ablasini
Michael Albasini has been in form this season. Albasini won the Volta Catalunya where he had two stage win along the way, as well as, a stage win at the Tour de Suisse. He will be seen to be attacking another mountain finish at the Tour de France.
