With Contador out of the picture, the team will be focusing for stage victories rather than aiming for the yellow jersey at the end of the tour in 22 July 2012 in Paris. The team consists of Chris Anker Sorensen, Nicki Sorensen, Michael Morrkov and Anders Lund, Nick Nuyens, Karsten Kroon, Sergio Paulinho and Juan Jose Haedo.

Alberto Contador suspended for doping and Andy Schleck (RadioShack-Nissan)out due to injury, Tour de France will not only favour Bradley Wiggins (Sky) and Cadel Evans (BMC) but also everyone in Team Saxo Bank will have a chance to have their own stage success. Juan Jose Haedo will be the sprinter while climbers Nick Nuyens and Chris Anker Sorsensen will be aiming for the mountain stages. Former stage winners at the Tour Sergio Paulinho, Nicki Sorensen, Karsten Kroon and Tour debutant Jonathan Cantwell will all be contributing to make the game plan succeed.
