Football fans may recognise the logo from their sponsorship deal with Valencia CF others may know them by reputation. Unibet are fast becoming one of the bigger online sportsbooks, available in over 100 countries with in excess of 3.6 million customers they are the choice of many.
Unibet Sports
Unibet cover a vast range of sports, everything from football and tennis to snooker and darts as well as the likes of ice hockey and volleyball, they cater for over 25 sports. However, in this industry it is not as simple as merely offering betting on a variety of sports, you have to do it well.
And at Unibets they certainly do it to a high standard. Available betting markets extend much further than simple match odds betting, for example a televised football match will have in excess of 40 associated markets and over 20 markets are available for basketball games.
The second and often most decisive element is to have competitive odds and once again Unibet don't falter. Okay, they don't consistently offer the best of odds but they are always competitive and there are certainly times when they are the best available.
Unibet Live Betting
At Unibet.com they also have a comprehensive live betting product, this covers betting in-play on many of the markets which are available pre-match and once again offers competitive odds. There is a stand-alone live betting client which displays all the odds and markets as well as match scores and vital information.
Unibet Bonus
April 2010 update: Unibet doesn't offer signup bonus for UK players at the moment.
The Unibet Bonus offers a 100% sign-up bonus up to the value of £20. You can use it on either a variety of small bets, or one large bet safe in the knowledge that it is a risk free bet. And best of all there is no bonus code requirement; the bonus amount is immediately credited into your account on your first qualifying deposit.
Conclusion
Altogether I have to conclude that Unibet is one of my personal favourite online bookmakers. They bring a lot to the table with competitive odds and a wide range of markets as well as a user friendly site and plenty of live betting opportunities.
