If you're like me, signing up with a bookmaker can be a frustrating experience. I was expecting much the same when I began signing up with bet365. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised to find that signing up with bet365 took merely a few minutes. Quite literally. I was asked to provide basic personal information and then within minutes, I had access to everything that bet365 sign up has to offer including their bonus offer, regular betting offers and their list of hundreds of betting markets. After completing the bet365 sign up process, I was also able to deposit funds into my account with a range of deposit methods available including my own preferred method.
bet365 sign up was easy, and much easier than I was expecting. All I needed to do was provide bet365 with personal information including my name, birthdate, address, email and phone. I also entered the bonus code MAXPLAY when required to ensure I was eligible for the welcome bonus.
Commencing the bet365 account registration process was easy. All I needed to do was click the join button. Doing so opened the registration form where I was asked to provide my personal information. It took a matter of moments to complete. I ensured I was eligible for the bonus offer by entering MAXPLAY in the field where requested.
Completing the bet365 Sign Up Process
I also needed to choose a username and password for the bet365 sign up. This is an important step for me as I value account security and you should too. I like to choose a username and password that is memorable but not too memorable. If you're wondering, there are a number of websites that will create a random username and password for you.
If you're like me you love a sign-up bonus. I've taken advantage of many bonus offers over the years but I would say that bet365 is in my top 3. So when signing up with bet365 I made sure I entered the bonus code MAXPLAY.
I've compared their welcome bonus to other bookmaker bonuses, and while the terms and conditions of the bet365 offer do diminish the offer's value somewhat, for me it still rates very highly against offers I've taken advantage of at competing bookmakers.
On completing my registration, my browser was directed to the bet365 deposits page. Here I could choose my preferred deposit method as well as the currency I would like to wager in. Since I am a customer based in the UK, I selected British Pounds.
You'll be pleased to know that I discovered a number of deposit methods available, from the most popular to a few I have to admit I have never heard of, which is great as it provides you with a broad menu of deposit options
Please note that I found maximum and minimum deposits vary depending on the deposit method you choose. This did not influence my preferred options but if you are looking to deposit large sums, you may want to consider the options available.
Before my account was fully functional I needed to complete the verification process. In order to withdraw funds from my bet365 betting account, the verification process needed to completed. And I was expecting (hoping) to make some money from my betting, withdrawing funds from my account is kind of important.
How did I verify my bet365 account?
Fortunately verifying my account was fairly straightforward. There were two steps. Both steps required me to confirm my identity by providing basic personal identity documentation.
Bet365 Account Verification Step 1
Step 1 provided me with a number of options. Firstly I could use documents such as my passport, ID card, drivers license or provide a copy of my birth certificate. After some thought, I decided to go with the drivers license, although any of the options would have been sufficient.
Bet365 Account Verification Step 2
Step 2 required me to provide another identity document. Since I had already used my drivers license I chose this time to use my passport. I could have chosen from passport, ID card, birth certificate as well as an account statement from my savings or credit card account, a tax bill, phone bill (which gave me a choice between my home phone or my mobile) and lastly a recent utility bill.
