This is priced like it's supposed to be a blow out, but I don't think we often see Saville blow opponents out because of her weak serve and lack of ability to hit winners. Mpetshi Perricard has an impressive skillset, but she has no experience at this level, which is why this is priced the way it is.
The younger Mpetshi Perricard was gifted a wildcard into qualifying and immediately took advantage with a straight set upset win. Here's the thing - Daria Saville is no longer a good tennis player. She beat another faltering player in Heather Watson in her first round, but I want to keep fading her as long as I can and this upstart home wildcard might be a good potential.
