Fiorentina lost 2-0 to Juventus away from home which will not have bumped confidence too much due to them being the underdogs in that game however Inter have been dealt bad news. Bitter news for Inter is that top striker Diego Milito will be missing for the rest of the season.

Inter themselves battled back from poor form last week against Chievo who are poor away from home anyway however they lack any quality defensively. Fiorentina have some great attacking players like Stevan Jovetic and will want to take advantage of a weakened Inter Milan. I expect a comfortable victory for the team from Florence.

Having lost Milito for the rest of the season will have hit Inter hard. The Viola have not enjoyed a good time in 2013, almost throwing away everything they worked for since the season kicked off. This is a face to face encounter between teams vying for the third place and I believe Fiorentina are more deserving given they actually have a gameplan, unlike Inter and Stramaccioni.
