Upcoming Changes to bettingexpert - Effective February 2nd, 2026

Dear valued members of the bettingexpert community,

Recently we’ve discovered a bug in our system which in some rare cases caused the tips written in English, by tipsters who usually post in English, to be classified as Serbian tips, and vice-versa. While this happened sparingly, we are still dedicated to make sure that all the competitions on our site are fair, and there are no issues that might create problems down the line.

The issue has since been solved, but, to prevent this and similar issues from occurring again, we have made some small, but effective, changes to the way in which the tips are posted:

From this day forward, when posting a tip, in the tip-posting window, you will see a drop-down menu with languages where we kindly ask you to select the language you are posting the tip in. We have made this change so that tip posting, and our competitions, are fair and equal for all our users, no matter the language they are using, and also to make sure that the users’ tips are placed in the correct competitions.

This change has been reflected in the Tipster Competition Rules, in the Eligibility part. The parts we’ve added now are presented below as bolded. Quoted from the updated Tipster Competition Rules:

“The language that Tipster uses to post tips needs to be in accordance with the version of the site he is on, and the language selected when posting a tip.

Therefore Tipsters must post tips:

• In English, if using the English version of the Website, and selecting English when posting the tip
• In Serbian, if using the Serbian version of the Website, and selecting Serbian when posting the tip

Tips posted differently from described, or in any language that is not listed here, will be considered invalid.“

This change is effective immediately, with the update of this post, and the update of the Tipster Competition Rules.

From the moment the change is effective, the tips in languages different than the declared language will be voided by our Admins. However, tips posted in wrong language before the change will not be affected, as we believe that our users did not deliberately abuse our system, given the relatively small number of incidents.
