Euro 2012 is just a couple of months away and today on the blog we launch our search for our Euro 2012 blog correspondent. It could be you!
Are you an aspiring journalist? Are you a blogger with a history of quality blogging? Have you always wanted to cover a major sporting event? Well here's your chance.
Today at BettingExpert, in association with our friends @BetfairSports ,we are launching the search to find our Euro 2012 blog correspondent. And it could be you!
Here's the deal:
On behalf of BettingExpert and Betfair, you will be heading to Poland to cover 3 Euro 2012 matches.
Each day you are at the tournament you will deliver an article to post on our blog including a match preview for each of the 3 matches you attend. Capture the atmosphere in the city, at the stadium during the match and of course the post match celebrations and commiserations.
What you will receive:
You'll receive a payment of £3,000 to cover all of your expenses including travel, accomodation and tickets to the matches you wish to attend. (All bookings will be your responsibility)
What you have to do to win:
To be our Euro 2012 blog correspondent simply submit an article to post on our blog by midnight CET Sunday May 13th. That's right, you've got two weeks to get busy! Please send all entries to andrew@bettingexpert.com with the subject line : Euro 2012 Blog Entry
The topic of the blog post is up to you so long as it's original content (i.e previously un-published) and football related. So be as imaginative as you like. Write a statistical analysis of the upcoming tournament. An opinion piece on why you love the Euro tournament. A historical retrospective. It's entirely up to you! Show us your knowledge of football, your flair for a unique perspective and your way with words!
Who will be selected as our Euro 2012 blog correspondent?:
The final decision will be made by the team at BettingExpert. Our decision will be based upon three main criteria:
A. Overall quality and originality of your article.
B. A strong resume of quality blogging.
C. Number of social shares that the article receives.
The winning entry will be announced on our blog Monday 21st of May.
All articles entered will feature on our blog a day after we receive them. You will be emailed the link to your article once it has been posted.
You can follow each of the submissions on our submission entry page
Please ensure you include your blog URL if you have a blog or links to your previously posted work if you don't have a blog of your own. Also please include your Twitter address. Your blog URL and Twitter account will feature on your article when it is posted on our blog.
You are also welcome to post the link to your entry article on your own blog.
