Today we'll be taking a look at which players have shot the most often in La Liga this season and which of these players convert the most of these shots into goals. We will also take a look at the top goalscorers in La Liga and find out which of these players score the most goals from the fewest shots.

Most Shots Per Game

Cristiano Ronaldo has had more shots and more shots per game than any other player in the La Liga this season, taking 92 shots in his 13 appearances at a rate of 7.1 shots per game.

Lionel Messi has had 5.2 shots per game this season, Alvaro Negredo (3.9), Helder Postiga (3.8) Falcao, Iago Aspas (3.7) and Riki (3) have all had 3 shots or more this season.

While, Aritzt Aduriz, Pedro Leon, Patrick Ebert and Tomer Hemed have all had 2.8 shots per game in La Liga this season.

It is all well and good having a lot of shots per game but it is even more important to convert these shots into goals, so we have also taken a look at which of these players have converted the most of their shots into goals.

It is not surprising that Lionel Messi has converted the most of his shots into goals this season as he has scored 19 goals from just 68 shots, which works out at 3.6 shots per goal. However, this is only slightly better than Falcao, as Falcao has scored 11 goals from only 41 at a rate of 3.7 shots per goal.

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored with every 7.7 of his shots this season, while it has taken Iago Aspas 8 shots, Helder Postiga 8.2 shots and Riki 9.8 shots to score a goal this season.

The players to take the most shots per goal out of this list are Patrick Ebert who has taken 16 shots to score a goal this season and Pedro Leon who has taken 17 shots to score a goal this season.
