Premier League Fixtures – Week 7
After Man City dropped points against Newcastle in their last game, playing to a 1:1 draw, we have a new leader on the table. Liverpool used the situation in their favour, defeated Wolverhampton by 2:1 and climbed to the premier spot of the league with that twin. The Cityzens are behind a single point and are tied with Arsenal after the Gunners barely defeated Leicester City by 4:2.
After a comfortable 2:0 lead, Arsenal conceded two times, with defender James Justin scoring both goals. But they turned things on and eventually ended up winning the entire contest and earning the much-needed three points. On the other hand, things didn’t turn out well for Aston Villa as they lost points against Ipswich Town.
The Tractor Boys showed that they have heart and didn’t let down even after the Villains overturned the result and took a 2:1 lead. The home town hero Liam Delap scored his second goal of the game, making it 2:2 and earning his team a valuable point.
Finally, we can’t forget probably the most interesting game of the week, Chelsea vs Brighton, which ended 4:2 in favour of the Blues, with all six goals being scored in the first half. Cole Palmer was astounding, scoring all four goals for Chelsea and leading them to 4th place with this win.
This week, things should go a bit easier for the leading teams, at least on paper. Manchester City welcomes Fulham at home, where they have been largely dominant for a couple of years now. Arsenal welcomes Southampton at the Emirates intent on continuing to rack up points in a title fight against Liverpool and Man City. The Saints are slated for a quick return back to the Championship, so it should be an easy win for Arsenal.
Liverpool travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace. Palace is dropping down fast, and after losing to Everton by 2:1 last week, they seem like easy prey for the Reds. Arne Slot made Liverpool a much smarter team than under Jurgen Klopp, so they should remain in the first spot even after this game.
Finally, the most interesting game of the week should be Aston Villa vs Manchester United. The Red Devils keep embarrassing themselves further and further. After losing to the Spurs by 3:0 at Old Trafford, it seems that the Villans should have no problem playing Man Utd at home, even after a lacklustre performance against Ipswich last week.

Premier League Stats
When it comes to the number of goals, Bundesliga is best for the fans because a lot of them are being scored and then comes the Premier League. La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1 have a bit worse stats but all top leagues are very close. They are scoring 3 or more goals in more than 50% of the matches.
They stand at 52% for Both Teams to Score betting tips which is quite similar to other leagues and teams. With 2.85 goals per match and a big home advantage that clubs have, they are still the best league in the world. What is interesting is that most goals are scored in the last 15 minutes of the game.
