There are six meetings in Britain and Ireland on Friday, with Dundalk (AW) and Newcastle (AW) providing some competitive all-weather action to keep bookmakers and punters busy in the evening. Jumps fans have four cards to get stuck into on very testing ground, with Down Royal, Exeter, Fontwell and Hexham all putting on varied fixtures with some fascinating runners from the top yards reappearing.

Exeter 2:20 (UK time)
Harry Fry has begun to run some of his nicer prosoects now the ground has eased, and his maiden hurdler is expected to be fully fit for this return after nine months on the sidelines. He remains completely unexposed after three runs over hurdles, and travelled like one to follow into handicaps when third at Taunton in February. This strongly run 2m trip on soft ground should be no issue at all, and Jonathan Burke will be looking to swoop late in a Class 5 that lacks any especially progressive rivals.

My Silver Lining
Exeter 4:00 (UK time)
Emma Lavelle’s improving chaser landed hefty market confidence on his return to the fray at Wincanton last month, travelling strongly under a patient ride and readily asserting before the last to win with plenty in hand. He now has a career high mark to defy in a better race at Exeter on Friday, but is still improving after eight runs over fences and can take the uplift in his stride under regular rider James Best (with the yard continuing in blistering form).
Odds: NA
