There are 4 meetings in Britain on Monday, with the first NH meeting of the season at Ayr likely to attract most of the betting interest. There are five handicaps on the card that set punters a stern test, and the field sizes are likely to be competitive after the recent rains finally eased the ground. Elsewhere there are flat cards at Leicester, Newcastle (AW) and Redcar, although stakes are best kept to a minimum with the sudden change in underfoot conditions and this stage of the season perilous for backers.
