There are six scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on Monday, with flat fans in for a varied and busy afternoon and evening. They have Ayr, Brighton, Gowran, Wetherby and Windsor to study on mainly drying ground, with some tough handicaps to try to solve at the Scottish venue (and the top northern yards sure to be well represented in the novice/maiden contests). Jumping fans have the afternoon card at Listowel to attack, with the action getting underway at 2.20pm on good ground.

Red Cloud
Brighton 3.30 (UK time)
Gary and Josh Moore have a brilliant record around the Sussex tracks, and their unexposed performer stepped forward when finishing second at this uniquely undulating course 13 days ago (running on strongly out wide from an impossible early position). He should relish this step up to a mile under Rhys Clutterbuck, and can improve past these much exposed Class 6 performers.
Odds: 3.00
Semser
Brighton 4.00 (UK time)
This strong travelling handicapper returned to form when fourth at this track last time out over 1m4f, doing too much mid race and wilting at the furlong pole having looked sure to take a hand turning for home. He should be suited by the drop down in trip to 1m2f under Tom Queally, and is now extremely well handicapped on the pick of his form in the last couple of years.
Odds: 6.00
